First you will need to determine your desktop resolution (screen size). This can be done by opening your display properties in the control panel and clicking on the settings tab. Or you can Click Here. Click the link of your chosen desktop that most closely matches your desktop size.

Once the image you've chosen loads, right click on the image and a menu will pop up. Choose "Set as Wallpaper" and the image will be saved in your windows directory as "Internet Explorer Wallpaper" or something similar.

You can adjust your settings by either right clicking on the desktop or selecting "Display" from the control panel. Under the "Background" tab you can set your background wallpaper to "Center", "Tile", or "Stretch". Windows 95 users please note that without Microsoft's Windows 95 Plus!, you will not be able to select the "Stretch" option.

When the new browser window pops up with the appropriate size of the image you want, hold your mouse button down on the image and click the option: "Save This Image as...". Then go to Control Panels and open Appearance. Choose Desktop and select the picture.
